This room houses a number of small collections that were donated by individuals from Floyd County. They include Native American and International Ethnographic items, Natural History items and Herman Tjaden's wood carvings. A majority of the Native American artifacts are not from Floyd County but were collected from around the United States. The most unique item in the room is the iron lung used at the Charles City Cedar Valley Hospital during the polio epidemic of the 1940s-50s. The graphs on the iron lung show the number of polio cases in both Floyd County and Iowa.
